I'm hoping That this is the same formula as the old StaLube product prior to CRC merger.
The old stuff of the best in the West! This looks the same and the ingredients are the same.

I use it for bicycle bearings and it works really great and is cheaper than "bicycle brand" products
Marine Grease
EXPEDITION✓ Verified Purchase•December 28, 2016
Used many times appears to have a thin texture not sure of results and will adjust review if necessary. Currently used on mowers and boat applications. Price paid appears to be on the high side and not sure if a repurchase will happen time will prevail.
Grease to Please

Anything that says "marine" costs more. For those trying to cut costs - the grease in those trailer bearings is not the place to do it. This one repels the water and protects those bearings. I have noticed several boats on trailers parked at the side of the highway through the years - with troubles. I sometimes wonder if a bearing went out because somebody didn't use marine grease. Hard lesson to learn the hard way.
The hope is that this grease works better at keeping out water

Definitely more tacky and thicker than all purpose grease. I use this for bikes, and it worked ok, but definitely provided more resistance in loose bearing hubs. The hope is that this grease works better at keeping out water, and if cleaning this is any indication, it will work fine for this purpose.
