Mediocre Build Quality

Bought this to alleviate battery drain on my very seldom used Saturn Sky. The length of the battery cables and the spacing around the battery on the Sky necessitated that I reverse the switch by unscrewing both sides and reattaching them in the opposite orientation. This is straightforward enough, but when reattaching the receiving side of the switch, I accidentally stripped the threading without using much force at all. I was able to salvage the switch using a tapered head nut and bolt, but overall I'm not too impressed with the build quality or design. If the threads had stripped on the side with the lever, I'm not sure there would have been enough room to fit a nut in place. If you need to reverse the orientation of this to fit your application, use care when reinstalling the screws.

Installed, it serves its purpose and is easy enough to operate. I had originally tried to fit a screw-type battery cut off but couldn't get the cable to turn and reach the post with that design.
Very Froderick Feankensteen

It's alive. IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!

Added this to my battery on my plow truck to stop some unknown parasitic loss and it has worked well thus far. Only the frigid, winter months will tell. That'll be the true test. So far well worth the $20
Batterydisconnect.

Fantastic. The hole where you clamp to your battery terminal is much to small to fit. Had to go to a garage having them expand the hole. Very difficult. I would suggest you purchase elsewhere!
Iffy cheap temporary solution to an expensive electrical problem

I bought this to easily disconnect the battery while the vehicle sits for a few weeks unused because it recently developed a parasitic draw that had me coming back to a dead battery. Installation was straightforward yet somewhat tricky given the location of my battery. On the first use the plastic end piece fell off and I noticed quite a lot of flexing in the plastic that separates the terminals. You definitely need to use two hands open and close the contact. It works but I'm not sure how long it will last.
Visual confirmation of the disconnection.

Absolutely great. I tried the round disconnector and could not tell if I disconnected the battery. These make it easy and definitive. When you pull the knife switch open it is easy to see that the connection is open.
