Works great to get the dryer as close to the wall as possible without crimping the vent tube.
This outlet was the ONLY reason I was able to install the dryer in my laundry room!

I have an XL dryer and could ONLY fit in the laundry room because of this vent. I had almost NO room to install the vent there is not way to gain any more clearance then this offset vent. The big box stores didn't have anything like this! HIGHLY recommend if you need the space!

The connection is same size as vent. Unable to connect so it defeats the purpose.
