I have a basement slop sink with a separate hot and cold water faucets. The hot faucet was leaking water through the stem and it needed packing. I saw the graphite packing for $0.93 and bought three packs. I figured that I would use one and have two in stock. I used a good amount of packing on the valve, because of the cheap price and not wanting to do the job twice. Now this is it, no amount of packing would stop the leak through the stem. The packing would blow through the stem. I went to a True Value store and picked up packing from them, one shot problem solved. The two extra packs that I bought will go into storage, my garbage can, it's not worth the agrevation of trying to use this product again.
