Good basic mechanical operation heating stat

Installed as freeze protection for my home HVAC system. Good basic mechanical operation heating stat. I mounted it firsetly above the programmable unit. (Many programmable thermostats are not fail safe. They quit working if the battery goes dead. Not good if you vacation south in winter.)

Thermometer is innaccuate

The thermometer portion of the product is inaccurate. It is about 4 degrees off. This is not acceptable is indicative of poor manufacturing and quality control. I recommend against buying this product.
