These have come in handy on a few occasions already. The size is a huge bonus. Would recommend to anyone who wants to ice a larger area at the same time.
UPDATE: A month and a half after purchasing these I noticed that one began leaking through a small cut at the seam of the cold pack. I figured something must have just tore it. Now two weeks later the second one was leaking from a small tear in the exact same spot! What a huge mess! This is frustrating because my guess is the weight of the product is too much for the outer material hence the small tears. I am disgusted and would NOT recommend these to anyone who doesn't want to waste their money again a month after purchase. Find a different product.

Used to be fabulous -- but you should avoid it now.

I've owned this brand of cold pack since 2006, and the first one was awesome. I have a chronic ankle issue, and the shape/size is perfect as an ankle wrap. My first wrap was wonderful through nine years of heavy use.
But sometime in that decade they changed the manufacturer or the manufacturing process, because when the first broke down I ordered another -- which promptly broke with light use -- and then another and another after each split and oozed its contents everywhere.
The fourth (the third in fifteen months) just broke open, and I'm *done*.
When these are *intact* they work very well, so I'm awarding two stars, but there's no excuse for charging this much for such shoddy construction. I'm giving up on Chattanooga products and looking at other manufacturers' offerings. :(

DO NOT ORDER- Busted at seams and spills everywhere

This product was helpful for the 20 or so uses I got out of it until the seams broke, despite being handled gently and rarely. It literally goes straight from the freezer into a pillow case and onto my neck. It's never stored or used near anything sharp that could have punctured the pack.
Now my pillow cases and couch are covered in a disgusting brownish goop that won't wash out. I planned to ask for a replacement, but after checking the new reviews it seems the company refuses to back up the warranty after the first month. This was initially a great product and I'd even ordered a second pack that is larger. Instead of waiting for it to burst and make another mess, it's going to just be easier to throw it out.
Don't order this if you want a durable product that lasts more than a couple months. You'll get a few uses out of it, then it will leak all over your house.
Thanks Chattanooga!

Don't buy! Seams break easily, oozing gray mush that stains!

Avoid Chattanooga gel packs at all costs. The seams broke everywhere after a few uses, oozing a disgusting gray mush that permanently stained my towels. Forget their so-called one-year warranty. They don't stand by their promise listed in their Amazon page. While I was once a loyal customer, Chattanoohga has lost my business for life.
OK, but prefer the FlexiKold

I had an injury to my lower back. I was looking for a good cold pack. I purchased two, the FlexiKold (10.5"x14.5") and the Chattanooga ColPac (11"x14"). I found the FlexiKold was better for me and a better quality product. It had fabric trimmed edges with an even distribution of the gel. The Chattanooga ColPac had edges that were sealed but untrimmed & I understand from other reviews could sometimes break. The distribution of the gel was uneven, lumpy and very heavy. Both stayed cold about the same amount of time. I used mine under my lower back laying flat in bed, and the FlexiKold was more comfortable since it wasn't lumpy. I personally would recommend the FlexiKold over the Chattanooga ColPac.
UPDATE...We sprung a leak yesterday 9/3/16...so it lasted about 4 months....but my husband liked it while it lasted because of it was squishy, lumpy & pliable ....the very reasons I didn't like it. He could mold it around his foot. So guess it depends on your injury, but the 4 month life span is pretty poor.
