Lots of old classics. I was specifically looking for a dvd of the classic Disney Peter and the Wolf to give as a Christmas present for my niece (3yo) and nephew (5yo). I had gotten them tickets to see a children's symphony orchestra perform Peter and the Wolf along with narration, so I figured they might be more interested if they see the cartoon version first. This dvd was perfect for them. Not only did they love Peter and the Wolf, but this is now their favorite dvd to take on long car rides to visit the grandparents.

I bought this DVD for the "Peter and the Wolf" animated short. It's everythind I remembered it to be, and it's everything that I wanted. The rest is gravy. I do remember some of the other cartoons from my childhood, especially "Pedro" and "Susie the little blue Coupe", which I read is what the chracters in the Pixar movie "Cars" were based on. I wish that Disney would either include a few more features on each DVD or release more DVD titles like these with a variety of shorts, or if not, then reduce the price a little. Otherwise, a very worthwhile purchase.

I wanted this disk just for the Peter and the Wolf short! I grew up watching that clip on the disney channel. I am a music lover and played the flute in band. This classic cartoon has different instruments represent different characters. Such a well written and composed piece! My 2 year old son loves to watch this DVD. They don't play classic cartoons like this on TV anymore, everything is 3D animation now. My son also loves cars, trains, and planes so 2 of the 6 shorts on this disk contain automobiles! He wants to watch "Blue car, blue car!" (Suzie the Coupe) Great DVD!

Worth almost anything to get the Disney cartoon of Prokovief's PETER AND THE WOLF, which is the best thing EVER, and the most wonderful way to get children interested in classical music. SOOOOOO cute. So sweet. Such gorgeous music. Don't miss it!! (I haven't even watched whatever else is on the dvd).
