Spanish option

Bought these for a 1 year old's birthday party. She liked them. I liked that they have a Spanish option.
Not worth the money

My son loves music and liked these for a while. But they didn't last. They were broken with light use in just a couple months.

I wish both were making sounds. I like the Spanish and English languages. Toddlers like the lights. We play mostly with one that makes sounds.
Mine had a problem on high volume setting.

Unit worked fine on low volume setting but when switched to high volume the unit worked in an erratic manor. Put in a fresh set of batteries, it worked fine again for a day at high volume then the same problem came back. I checked the batteries with a volt meter and each time the combined voltage drops by a little due to usage the audio goes erratic. The other problem is that the low volume is too low so that makes high volume the only option. Maybe I got a defective unit but at this point I cannot bother to return it.

Bought this for my now 4 year old when he was about 18 months. He loved them - and now that I've taken them out for his 9 month old brother, baby loves them and my preschooler likes playing with them again, too.
I myself was also pleasantly surprised than they did more than I realized: they electronic maraca (only one is electronic) changes color and says the name of the color (or changes tune, etc. depending on the setting you choose) whenever your baby shakes it. It's not difficult but also not overly-sensitive to movement. Perfect for baby to use on his own.
