For the first time in my life, I got really bad allergies this summer. VERY itchy eyes, Sneezing endlessly, it was horrible! Benadryl worked but made me sleepy. These work but don't make me sleepy! They work the 24 hours for me, I take the one a day per directions and most days I'm fine. A few random days though, I've had sudden allergy attacks for no apparent reason that I can figure... so I've taken a second one in absolute desperation, and that fixes it. I still can't figure out what I'm now allergic to - we've lived in the same house for 3 years and I haven't had a problem any other year. Taking one of these pills every day for a month, I haven't noticed any side effects. Definitely recommend!

We have these for my son (takes a half dose) and they work fairly well when they are really needed but we have found that he has really restless sleep when he takes these - even if he takes them in the morning. Our solution now is Pollen Defense tincture and a homeopathic remedy plus a few drops of eucalyptus oil on his sheets at night. He sleeps so much better and daytime is pretty good as well.

My husband is plagued by allergies this time of year and the Claritin seems to work really great for him. Given the choice between the standard Claritin tablets which had 40 tablets to a box for less than these "RediTabs with 30 in the box, he still wanted these, so his vote is in folks.
I'd also like to add that the price here at the time of purchase was less than that at WalMart, so it was indeed a good buy.

Ugh! Allergy season is in full swing here in the Pacific NW, especially for those of use who are allergic to tree pollen. Every February/March, I suffer through about 6 weeks of sneezes, congestion, misery starting with the junipers and ending with the cottonwoods. I've taken a number of different allergy meds, and this is one that actually works. It doesn't obliterate my symptoms entirely, but it's usually about 80% or so. I can usually fill in the gap with another OTC antihistamine (4-hr tab).

The best part: these don't put me to sleep. No drowsiness, and no "hyped-up" feeling, either. These are easy to take, too -- the dissolve almost instantly and the taste is not unpleasant (it has a very slight "mint" flavor, but not really strong). These aren't inexpensive, but they do work, so at least I'm not wasting money on other less-effective allergy remedies.

Will continue to purchase these as the need arises (this fall, most likely, when leaf mold makes its appearance).

Had a little trouble finding this Loratadien. Should have known good ol' Amazon would have it! An effective antihistamine,even us poor hypertension folks can have allergy relief. Just carefully follow directions for dosage, and your health professional's advice. Highly recommended.
