Works great! I've taken it out a few times with mixed results that were my fault. The first time I used it was in a lake near the shore. I didn't catch any crayfish but I did catch three big turules. After that I used it in a calm stretch of river with good results. Because it's very light weight I doubt it would work well in faster water. Then I went back to the lake and dropped it down about 30 feet. When I came back the next morning the trap was literally half full. After counting we had 72 crayfish in one pull. So... it works great in calm waters but I wouldn't recommend it for fast water.
Should work fine in a turtle free zone

I used this in a lake with soft shell turtles and pond sliders in.It didn't last an evening .They tore holes in it and let the fish out if there were any in it.Should work fine in a turtle free zone!
Easy, effective, and folds up flat.

Great trap but be careful if it gets stuck under a sunken log it is mesh so it may rip, work great though at preventing escapees impossible to get out of for crayfish I caught about 100 in a few hours with some smoked salmon scraps
