Worked out very well!
Joseph M Edwards✓ Verified Purchase•August 4, 2017
Worked out very well. Many different uses, but in my case, I wanted to boost the signal from my HD antenna. Went from being able to get 44 channels to 101 channels! Of course, after sorting out the numerous foreign language channels and an insane amount of shopping channels, I was left with about 30, but hey, it sure beats paying for cable!! Very easy to install, and looks to be good quality.
As advertised, fixed my "weak or scrambled channel" issue

Seems to work as advertised. I purchased this due to a specific cable channel often pixelating, breaking up or outright not being detected. My service drop is only split to this one television and to the cable modem, so there's not much to be done in terms of rewiring that would help.
Fortunately, there was a short length of vestigial coax in the area where our service comes in that made hooking this up to power a breeze. After install, I have yet to notice any issues with the formerly problematic channel.

Was having drastic issues with one of my cable boxes always losing signal through the line. Connected the PCT 1 Port and instantly had reconnection. Have not lost a signal since it has been connected. Others claim the unit heats up. Haven't had that issue. It has been a huge saver of having to run new cable all the way up to my 2nd floor.
Works for what it is designed for.

Read about it before you buy and apply as stated and it will work as it should and if you try to get it to do something it is not designed to do it will not work and really no need to condemn the item.
I used it on the "TV FREEWAY" so called HDTV antenna and what it did was allow me to add three more channels with a whopping total of 8 HDTV channels now and being in a fringe area ,for the price and my set up was worth it for the improvement.

My main network channels which are closer to my location and have better signals do appear sharper

Well built component. As detailed in descriptions, this won't pull in remote signals that are beyond your antenna's design, however it did improve some of my weaker signals (some distant signals still cut in and out with weather, etc.). Primarily, this is intended to boost the signal to offset loss due to the length of cable between your antenna and tv set(s). My main network channels which are closer to my location and have better signals do appear sharper. Be sure to put thought into whether you should purchase a better antenna to pull in borderline signals versus improving current pictures.
