Excellent quality, easy to rip off the roll by hand. Bonds very tightly to surfaces and to itself; the roll has a layer of non-stick paper to make it easy to peel the tape off (it would probably be impossible otherwise, as even incidental contact with other foil tape was very hard to undo - but that's a good sign of how long this tape's bond will last).

Foil tape has a very different application from most other types of tape. It is not intended for binding things together (shear force will rip the tape).
Foil tape is intended to be used to wrap or cover wire, cables, holes or cracks in ductwork, etc. It conforms extremely well to corners and joints, and is far superior than duct tape for non-binding purposes.
