I used the tape to help seal some duct work in my attic. The original tape was about 12 y ears old and some of it was peeling. I live in west Tennessee and the temperature can go to the extremes in the winter and summer. The tape seems to do the job. I liked that it was wide for greater coverage. I just hope it will last in the attic. The adhesion seems very strong. Also the price on amazon was very nice compared to the big box stores.
Great economical foil tape

I love this stuff, use it mostly for hexayurt projects but find myself reaching for it at other times. Blocks all light out of seams, peels and applies easily. I don't know that it's any better than competing brands, I just know that I can get it from here in two days for a good price.
I can't recommend this for Rigid foam seams

I can't recommend this for Rigid foam seams, better to use Henry's BlueSkin. For other applications I'm sure it's wonderful.
