My favorite watch

I've now owned three of them over the last 25 years or so. Lost one, and the last held up well but was pretty scratched up.
Nice watch

The watch face was smaller than I was expecting and didn't look good on me. It was nice quality and in good working order, but I did return it and had a good return experience. The backlight worked when pressing the button on the side, I thought it would just automatically work when in a dark room. The hands do light up on their own without pressing any button.
Good purchase value

Great Watch for the Money

This is a very comfortable, everyday, casual watch. It's 39 mm is a smaller diameter size than other watches I own, but it's easy to read. I don't know how water resistant it is, but it's very comfortable and you can activate a light to illuminate it by pushing the crown of the watch in. It was easy to set the time and date. The price point was very nice.
An OK watch.

I do like to have a wristwatch, but am too put off by the need to recharge an Apple Watch every night, or to do deal with a $100 bill for changing my old TAG Heuer's battery. I'm also getting old, and my eyesight without reading glasses is awful, but I get by, and only wear them while working or reading. So, lets stick at the cheap end of the pool.
I've owned in the last 5 years, an old casio digital, an MDC Infantry ($25), and now this. Casio sucked because of watch band. MDC felt great initially, its a bit big, but felt substantial. However, it wasn't easy to read, the luminos hands barely were wide enough. It also wasnt waterproof enough even to go in the bath, and what's worse, the dial started to rotate. So when the battery died, I took the super comfortable NATO strap off it, and ordered this one.
I was a bit surprised about the lack of weight and size, but it's fine. I LOVE the Indiglo, and it appears to be much more waterproof that the Infantry. The downsides, the lens is PLASTIC, and feels cheap. The numbers could be clearer. I live by the 24 hour clock, but I don't need to be told in miniscule letters that 1 is 13... etc.
