Really like it!

I seem to have a thing for toothpastes/powders these days and have been looking for 'the one' to call my favorite.
The Jason Healthy Mouth toothpaste is certainly in the top running! I like the way it tastes and the way it makes my whole mouth feel. My teeth feel very clean, polished, and fresh, and they 'gleem'.
Do know that 'a little goes a long way' as I made the mistake of drawing a toothpaste 'line' on my brush and it was WAY too much. I could've brushed everyone in the family's teeth with that! LOL. LOL. Seriously, a 'little dab'll do ya'.
It did seem to take a bit longer to receive that I thought, so I was somewhat irritated with that - I mean, it's just one tube of toothpaste, why so long? So, when I do plan to re-order, and I'm sure I will, I will order LONG before I run out.
I almost contacted Amazon with the 'where's my order?' button, and I have never once done that before, so be advised.

Really enjoying this toothpaste! I love JASON products, and have used their hair and skincare products for years. For oral care, I have previously tried Toms toothpaste and some of the charcoal pastes as well. Toms was alright but nothing special. Be wary of using charcoal toothpaste as it can seriously damage your enamel (happened to me, which is why I switched immediately to JASON). This toothpaste foams up really nicely, so a little goes a long way. I love the tea tree ingredient as it really does freshen my mouth and make my teeth feel squeaky clean! I bought the JASON mouthwash that's cinnamon and tea tree, as a complement to this product. Combined with flossing and tongue scraping, my mouth is a minty fresh paradise. I literally cannot get close enough to people and mouth-breath in their personal space. It's really nice. Thank you JASON.
The best toothpaste yet!

There are a lot of options for more natural choices on toothpastes these days so I have actually had a chance to try quite a few (everything from "tooth powders' to gels to aromatherapy pastes).
Bottom line - While I still occasionally try other brands or even other options from JASON, this it the only one that I continue to buy again and again. It's combination of mint, tea tree and clove does and excellent job of ensuring that your mouth feels CLEAN and not chemically sweet with a hint of freshness like other well know toothpaste brands. It is also in the same paste formula that you would expect from the traditional toothpastes, so when you have company stay they are not weirded out by you choice of oral hygiene products.
Most of JASON and TOMS toothpastes I have been impressed with but this one is the best. The only drawback is that you only get 4.2oz when you get the paste vs. the Flouride Gel (which is 6oz). I think that kinda stinks since I am not a fan of flouridation in my water or my oral hygiene products. What gives? I can only guess that has something to do with a higher cost on ingredients for the pastes vs. the gels?
Other worthy options of JASON toothpastes are the Powersmile and Sea Fresh. The NutriSmile works good too but some people love the orange/clove and some really don't care for it.
Overall, the HealthyMouth is the best one out there.

Healed my gums!!!!
Alex Van Wyngarden✓ Verified Purchase•December 17, 2023
I was having problems with bleeding gums around a resorbing tooth. I also have been having issues with receeding gums for years now. The dentist had me on a prescription strength mouth rinse that tasted terrible, was far from natural, and was extremely expensive! The prescription slowed the bleeding, but it never actually healed the gums.
Well, I searched and found Jason's healthy mouth tooth paste. Within a week of ditching the prescription for this toothpaste my gums were almost completely healed. I switched to water flossing and that finally completed the healing process for me.
The last time I went to the dentist he was shocked at how healthy my gums looked!!! My gums are growing back and are completely healed!!!!
I am soooo grateful to have found a toothpaste that is helping my gums to restore themselves!

Why I'm buying more of this toothpaste:

So, I wanted a more natural toothpaste without sulfates, fluoride, etc. and I was looking for something akin to the clove toothpaste we had during a year in India. Tried this one and am back to buy more. First, the paste has the substantial feel I like (it's a texture thing). A small amount on the brush goes a looooong way, since it foams during brushing. The taste is very fresh with the spice of cinnamon to wake up mouth but not painfully strong, aloe is soothing. My biggest comment to add to the positive reviews has to do with my own dental health and gum issues. Tea tree oil is, apparently, known for antimicrobial and antiseptic activity. Here's the TMI: one of my root-canaled teeth broke in half Nov. 2012 leaving a crater under the gum line. Yes, I immediately had dentist check it out. But after that, opting not to have the remaining tooth surgically removed just to be replaced with an implant screwed into jaw, I've had no trouble or infection. I do believe I can thank the tea tree oil in this toothpaste for the nice recovery of the potentially sensitive area. Listerine might have done the same, but burns my gums and probably wouldn't have felt fabulous on a mouth wound. So, I'm completely happy with this toothpaste for ingredients, non-ingredients, taste, texture, and activity.
