The best toddler trike!

We bought these for our twin two year old sons for their birthday. I almost bought another well known brand which offers a convertible trike- and I am SO glad we bought this instead. The schwinn trike is incredibly well made and was easy to put together. I can tell it will last a long time and stand up to two boys who are no exactly gentle on toys :) Our boys are 33" tall and could not reach the peddles on the closest seat position but they will grow into it. The seat is close enough to the ground that they can push with their feet. If you are looking for a toddler trike this is the one to buy.

My son likes this bike a lot. He has fallen over on it while traveling fast or taking a sharp u-turn. Since he is already close to the ground, I do not feel that his spills are too damaging to his body, just his ego. The screw and nut that attaches the handle bars and front wheel does not seem to hold as tight as I would like it to. Sometimes the handle bars are not aligned with the front wheel. But that is what we all get for allowing all of our bikes to be made outside of the United States. Cheap prices have trumped craftmanship, so we get what we deserve.

My grandson really loves this! It was easily assembled and looks great. As with so many things, it is recommended that items like this are delivered early enough for you to verify proper operation before becoming a large part of a birthday celebration. The nut that fastens the seat to the frame was broken (it is a plastic piece with a threaded metal insert). We replaced it with a wing nut from Home Depot and all is well.

This trike is the Escalade of all trikes! Excellent quality, high end, comfortable, and well made! Bought for my 3 year old and she loves it! Only concern is the tires have to be regularly inflated and have the potential to pop. But don't let that hold you back. This bike is made to last!
