I needed to replace an old screw in drain stopper and wasn't sure if this would work, but it did a fantastic job! It fit perfectly in my old tub system, screwed in easily and plugs/opens easily. It did take a little extra push to get it to pop back up, but that was probably only because it was brand new and the suction is working extremely well!

I ordered 2 of these because of the reviews, both of the stoppers I received do not work properly. It takes multiple pushes to open and close stopper. This is regardless of it being attached to drain or just holding it in your hand. Maybe they've changed their production on it. At any rate, it's a one start across the board, looks cheap and works cheaper. I'm returning.

not like picture. it will not function as required without leaving it loose. bad rubber design causes a blocking of water flowing to drain. the rubber flares downward so that it stop draining even when "open".

Works well in our garden tub. Would have liked the cover to be metal over plastic. I'm replacing a similar one with a cracked cap because it was plastic as well.
