Sturdy, snaps stay closed, great for Special Needs

We have been purchasing these bibs for years for our (now) pre-teen child, we started when he was in elementary school. My point is: they're not just for grown-ups!
They are long and substantial, more than adequately covering the lap, wash and dry very well, and the snaps are easy to use and stay closed. (We did also purchase some with velcro and that quickly fails, rendering the bibs useless.)
I do not pre-treat these bibs and we have had no staining, plus the backing truly renders them waterproof, or at least if the terry gets wet the person wearing the bib does not.

It is long, so offers good coverage, with fabric on the front and plastic on the back, so the protection should be good. It is pretty stiff, so I will be washing it at least once prior to first use, There are two snap closures, so neckline is adjustable, all good things, but... the picture of this "floral" looks NOTHING like this picture. It is a hideous brown and purple mash up with a mint green seam binding. The good news is you'll never notice if someone spills something on it. I suggest a glass of wine before dinner, so when you sit across the dinner table from this, it's a little easier to look at.

I'm surprised how much I use this apron. I enjoy reclining and watching TV while I eat, and that leaves ample opportunity for food to spill or crumble on my lap or above. What is amazing is how easily this cleans off! If I wipe off a liquid spill, it has not stained the front at all. It is large enough to cover me and it is easy to fold over and pour the crumbs into the trash. Besides all that, it looks nice, too.

I purchased this shirt protector for my mom because it is pictured as a lovely blue. Unfortunately the description is merely "Paisley" so what I received was NOT a blue paisley protector, but a black and white paisley shirt protector. This may seem trivial, but when you are trying to find items to cheer an infirmed 90 year old, little things, like pretty colors, are important.
