It's a real corker of a machine!
Perfect for the occasional corker

Perfect for the occasional corker. I would say shell out some more money for a heavier-duty product if you're doing this a ton, but for me (corking 30 bottles of fake wine for a show) it worked just fine. Definitely do a few tests to get the adjustment nut on the top in the correct spot, so you don't push the cork halfway down the neck or have it sticking out the top. Also I'm very short, so I couldn't do this on the counter or table because leverage was impossible. You have to be well above the thing to get it going, so if you're having trouble either stand on a box or put the bottle on a towel on the ground.

I gave this as a gift. She uses it as a craft tool, not for corking full wine bottles, but she has used it several times now and it does work.

Had this thing for over a year. finally got bottle to cork. Up to htis point all my bottles have been twist top. finished a 6 gallon batch of pear. and bottled it up, this thing once you figure it out is a life saver. simply soak corks for a few minutes. place fully on top of the bottle, slide cork into hole (make sure its centered or you have ugly cork), adjust top nut for depth desired.

If you are only going to do a few bottles here and there, it's fine. If you're doing a few dozen at a time, I found it tiresome. It tends to fracture the corks, leaving a small chunk floating in your bottle from the previous cork unless you are very careful to check after each bottle, which slows you down. It bites a chunk out of the top of the cork, does not level each cork the same, and also tends to dimple the top of the cork, which are just a cosmetic issues, but if you give bottles as a gift, it looks sloppy. I just did 50 bottles, and wish I had spring for a floor corker.
