Overrated, but still high quality.

Kind of over rated, but good and solid. It seems higher quality than other run of the mill clippers. The thin nail file strip on the top is pretty neat. Kind of expensive for what it is, but being made in Japan it will probably out last the cheap Chinese ones several times over. Unlike what people are saying in reviews, the work fine for fingers, as apposed to toes, unless you have freakishly small fingers. If it were a bit cheaper it would be five stars.

as a man that used tools and made tools to get things done for the past 40 years i can honestly say this tool is my favorite, the way the clipper sits in the hand because of the spade shaped Handle really shows dedication and intelligent thinking, i wont waste your time telling you about the high quality and sharpness of this nail clipper, i will tell you it is the best functioning nail clipping tool i have ever used.

I love these clippers. I use them for both my fingernails and toenails. I first got one in a set called Seki Edge Takuminowaza G-3101 here on Amazon that cost me about 50 bucks. I wanted another set after almost 4 years, but I didn't want to pay that much again. This whole time I should've just looked on the underside of the clippers, and I could've seen that they were branded Green Bell. These are the exact same clippers as the ones I loved that came in that expensive set. I ordered two of them so I'd have another backup, but I'll probably order more and start giving them away as gifts.
The one I've opened and used so far wasn't quite the same level of sharpness where it would silently "cut" through the nail every time rather than "clip" a piece off. But it was nearly there. After 4 years my original piece is finally dull enough to be compared to regular good nail clippers when new. These new ones are a great replacement. I'm very glad I found them.

Best toenail clipper I have ever used. To be clear, this item really is a toenail clipper, too large to be a fingernail clipper. As other reviewer's have stated, this cuts easily and cleanly, like no other clipper I've used. I strongly recommend buying this.
