This is a great tool for cutting toenails and it can work well for anyone. Unfortunately, I have cut the side of my toes 3 times with the sharp pointed edges on the side of the cutter.

I've owned these for probably a year and a half now, if not longer. I even bought a 2nd pair because I liked them so much (and I had misplaced the first one that I bought). I have a pretty bad case of fungal toe. So, I needed a wide mouthed pair of toenail clippers. These do the job very nicely. I almost didn't buy these because of a few bad reviews saying that these were dangerous. Um... they're toenail clippers. They will cut where you put them, just like any other pair of toenail or fingernail clippers. So, place them where they will only cut the toenail and that's what they'll cut. If you bury them into flesh before cutting, then that's what they will cut. Ignore the few bad reviews that say... Dangerous. Just be aware of where you are putting them before you cut. These things work great... I wouldn't have bought a 2nd pair if they didn't.
