Received my order yesterday the habanero short shots is excellent i took a few pieces of the snack sticks and you can feel the habanero heat going down taste wise great not greasy no grease on your fingers plus it's Gluten free other types of beef sticks that I tried were very greasy too salty and not enough heat I must say this is the best habanero short shots I tried I'm glad I purchased 2 packages of the habanero short shots this will last me awhile until I purchased more soon .ðŸ‘â¤these habanero short shots.

I did not think these were all that good and would not purchase again. The Habanero was not all that hot...Not hot enough for me. The bigger issue is that like several other reviewers mentioned, these tasted like a 'not as oily Slim Jim'. As others also mentioned they do tend to upset the stomach for some reason, I am not sure why. Pretty high calories (120) for just 4 small sticks. Regular jerky is better calorie wise. This is a bit too carby for me too since it contains Rice Bran, Dextrose, Corn Syrup, and MSG.

These are addictive. I originally purchased a pack since it has become impossible to find jalapeno Slim Jims in my area. The habanero name was intriguing. I like the dry surface, a far cry from the oily spinal fluid that Slim Jims are packed in, so no mess when eating. There is a good hit of heat, but not overpowering. The first package was supposed to last me three months as a two a day snack item at work. Either I can't be trusted or these things contain some addictive ingredient. Second pack is waiting, hidden in my desk as I go through the last dozen or so sticks from the first pack. At only 40 calories a stick, the indulgence is wracked with guilt. A very enjoyable item at a fair price.

Didn't like them at first but the grew on me. Seeing the ingredients listing BEEF HEARTS as a main ingredient made me want to puke but I guess these aren't exactly gourmet cured meats.
Good flavor and easy to eat. Nice spiciness to them, not too salty. Just wish the bag were resealable.

If you get them, make sure you have a one gallon ziplock bag available or other way to decant them, because the bag they come in is not re-sealable.
