I purchased these for my son and his wife because their knives were just sad. I have used Rada Cutlery for years and years. I have to say that I have used many other brands and these are my second favorite of all knives I've ever used. My first favorite is a brand that you bout have to mortgage the house for. You can't beat the price of Rada. I cook a LOT and these LAST. I especially love the cheese knife and the tomato knife. I have just the regular stainless which looks nice but I purchased the black handles for them and I have to say they look super nice. It gives them a richer more modern look to be displayed in your knife block on the counter.

Rada and I met in an Amish town in Iowa. It was a little gift shop with unusual merchandise and I was amazed by the prices of this cutlery. On first use after we got home the amazement continued with the sharpness of the pieces we bought. We've since bought a couple of individual knives as well as this Starter set. We've replaced 90% of our old knives. Totally recommend RADA!

Only thing is the large knife of the set was supposed to be serrated.
This one isn't. Just a plain blade.

Had a relative tell me about Rada Cutley so I purchased these to see if they were as great as she said. Not sure how we lived without Rada knives in our house all these years. They are relatively inexpensive so that is a plus. The handles are very comfortable in the hand. They are pretty sharp as well. This is a great starter set of knives. There is a great variety in this set. I purchased a large block from Amazon and combined this set with the other gift set and the steak knives for the perfect set of kitchen knives. My family is glad I purchased them.
