Exactly what I needed with painful knees.

Love this. I didn't buy for my wheelchair. I have knee problems and getting off the couch is painful. I was folding towels to make a cushion. This comes in several thicknesses. I chose 3_ in. since my cushions were 5 in. The cushion is firm but comfortable and makes getting up so much less painful. If I need to replace I will go up to 4 in. I'm 5'4 in. and was afraid this would make the seat too high so got the 3_ in. Of course the cushion dimensions aren't the same as my couch cushions but you don't notice that when sitting on it.
Useless, collapsed to 1/2" thick in 30 minutes.

I would give it ZERO stars but of course you can't. After sitting on it for 30 minutes is has collapsed to 1/2" thich (that's right, one-half inch!) I measured the gap between the top of my thigh and the bottom of the table as 1-3/4" with the cushion and 2-1/4" without, so it's pretty much useless. And yes I realize that at 215 pounds I put a fair bit of pressure on it but really it should do better, the foam just isn't firm enough. If you weigh a lot less it might work for you. I'm a gonna try and return this piece of junk and maybe order a different one to see if anyone here sells a better one that won't collapse.

This thing is as hard as a rock AND, much to my surprise, you CAN'T RETURN IT!!!! As far as I can tell, this non-return policy IS NOT listed anywhere on in the description/etc on the site. So going to order a Purple brand cushion which is expensive but I know is better than this one and eat the cost of this "board"... Hmmmm...
Works great for wheelchair usage.

My wife needed to get a wheelchair for travel, and the Duro-Med wheelchair cushion was a great addition to the chair.
My only comment is I wish there was velcro attachments on the cushion pad, so it can be attached to the chair, both when you are using it normally, and when it is folded up, so the cushion can be with the chair. My wife is an accomplished seamstress and will add such attachments, but it would be nice if it came with the pad.

When you have to sit on your cushy for a long time it helps to have a cushion in mind that reacts to your hind end. This is one that does, it is comfortable and easy on the back by relieving the pressure on the sensitive areas. Could not ask for better at the price paid. Been in wheelchair for over 12 years and now considered an expert on hiney prodical.
