Great quality chenille stems bend and shape easily, and are easy to cut with scissors. I used them to hang red packets on my pussy willows stems for the upcoming Chinese New Year and the result is a beautiful array of red in our otherwise monochromatic dining space.

I needed pipe cleaners for my training classes to keep adult learners busy while learning. Yes, they are thin and some look like they may have mange, but out of all of them, it was only 3 that had any defects. The colors are pretty and for the price, you can't beat it! These should last me at least a few training classes!

I'm not sure what constitutes a 5-star pipe cleaner so I'm putting this item as 4 stars. They look like pipe cleaners. I guess people were mad that they were terrible at cleaning pipes so the name was changed to "chenille stems". But honestly, if you're stupid enough to think that these things were actually made for anything other than crafts and little kids, then you probably use iPads as maxipads. And yes, I'm still calling them pipe cleaners. That's what they were called when I was a kid and I'm not going to go "p.c." because some cheap idiots in the entire universe of Amazon shoppers mistook them for serious cleaning tools. Does any other professional grade quality cleaning tool come in clown colors?

I use them as cat toys and for crafts with my toddler. I am glad that it came in a pack of 100, since they tend to end up hidden all over the house (both a good and bad thing to have so many)
