Great product from a great company. Fit and function was perfect for application. Keeps the dust and moisture out when stored. Packaging was a little beat up but product was ok.

Bought this for the eyepiece lens on an SPR type 1.5-5x scope and the Butler Creek clear see through objective lens cover. I'm very happy with the combination, and the one I got (39.9mm) fit really snug but secure on a 40mm measured eyepiece scope body to wrap around.

Consider this: I bought the Chinese counterfeit copy of one of these on eBay for $6.50 for another scope. This one cost $9.99 for the real deal. I estimate this product to be at least 2x better than the counterfeit copy, and the cost is only 1.536923076923077x more for the real deal. Mathematically, the purchase of this one is a no-brainer. Please note, I did not factor in the cost of tax, so my figure would be different, but still, by all accounts, just buy this one.. Do it... do it for math..

Quick and quiet. Keeps your scope clean and dry in the rain. On dry days just keep them open on rainy days just pop them open. Just order the right size

I already have one set of Butler Creek scope caps for my rifle scope which is a Leupold 4.5-14x40mm. I've had these scope caps for nearly 20 years with no faults whatsoever. I upgraded my muzzleloader scope to a Leupold 3-9x40 which meant I needed new scope caps. I went to Gander Mountain (the only local dealer that has Butler Creek products) but they were out of the sizes I needed. The size 13 flip open is the perfect size for the eyepiece. Size 26 flip-open is the perfect size for the objective lens. These sizes fit both of the scopes I mentioned. Butler Creek has a chart on their website that was accurate which can be found here.

Quick and easy to install, fits nice a tight. Can't beat it for the price. Only reason I can't give them 5 stars is because I wish the caps laid flatter when open (they stick up kinda tall and tend to get in the way). But otherwise great.
