Do not buy....Poorly Made

I was ironing this tablecloth before I noticed the two seams, one on each side. It is a round tablecloth with an add on piece of cloth on each side. I have never seen anything so poorly made. A shame because the material is nice. I did not see the review that mentioned this. Wish I had. Are some people getting a cloth made of 1 piece and others getting the pieces?

Fast shipping! It took some effort to iron out the creases, even after soaking and drying it. But after using it, I washed it (stains came right out) and putting it in the dryer, it no longer needed ironing. However, the cording on the edge does awkward things. I plan to remove the cording and put in a 1/4 inch hem by machine. Otherwise, nice tablecloth, nice fabric.

I needed a 60-inch x 84-inch tablecloth so since I have had this tablecloth in a larger size, which I purchased from a local store several years ago, and really like it, it seemed logical to purchase the 60-inch x 84-inch. Unfortunately the quality is not the same. The stitching of the cord trim is sloppy in various areas and the fabric isn't nearly as nice. This surprised me as it is a Lenox tablecloth and I assumed quality would not be a problem. By the way you will notice when looking at the 2 photos that the color looks different. In the 1st (top) photo it is more a gold cream while the 2nd (bottom) photo the color is a true ivory. So which color is the tablecloth? In my opinion it is like the first photo, a gold cream. I returned the table cloth because of the poor quality.

I think the value can't be beat. I've read all the other reviews, and I find I don't have to iron it if I take it right out of the dryer and put it on the table. The cording does stand out, but I like that. It isn't too slippery or shiny. I'm really happy with it. I particularly like that the corners are slightly rounded, rather than coming to a point. It's slightly better than I had expected.

Lenox is known as a professional, high quality, classy brand- WHAT A HORRIBLY DESIGNED PRODUCT!! The whole point of buying a round tablecloth for a round table is so there is a beautiful, solid piece of fabric that covers the entire surface- this table cloth as, not one, but TWO seams sewn into it, and both seams are very, very visible, especially if you are sitting on the side with the seam. I bought a cheap, almost identical table cloth from bed bath and beyond which served me very well for years, and that one did not have any seams. I spent the money for the Lenox table cloth for my formal table, thinking I was getting an even better product than the one I was replacing- NOT THE CASE. Very, very disappointed. I bought this almost a year ago and saved it for a special occasion- if I had bought it sooner, I would definitely have RETURNED this and asked for a REFUND.
