"Fat bottom girl" sitting on CLOUD 9
Fire@WillJuly 7, 2017
Truly is "CLOUD 9" if your a "fat bottom girl". My GF was always complaining her "bottom & VJ" was hurting after bike riding. Decided to search for a wider seat. Read all the reviews on different seats. There were a couple reviews that mentioned "almost as comfortable as the CLOUD 9 seat". That was all it took to purchase one. Installed & after a few adjustments, GF said "perrrrfect!". Like sitting on "cloud 9". A little "tight" on the post installation, tilted seat forward & used a block of wood with a hammer to tap in place. Other than that a "breeze" to install and adjust..
Best seat ever!

When I bought this seat it had 4.5 stars, almost 3k reviews, so I knew it had to be good and boy was it! This seat is AMAZING. I had no issues installing it, but did expect them from other reviews saying a part of it was too wide. This seat is wide enough to distribute my fat butts weight, but not uncomfortably wide at all. I had to lower my seat a bit because there is a lot of firm but comfy padding that adds height. I'm a new rider, and my butt generally hurts within a few minutes from my normal seat, my gel cover and my moms Walmart padded seat, with this seat, we rode 30 minutes on a very bumpy trail, no pain at all. I love this seat.
Works as an Urb-E Seat Upgrade Too!
James LSeptember 12, 2016
While I use a different style of seat for my bicycle (a dual-floating pad style saddle), this was for an upgrade to my Urb-E URB-E Black Label Electric Folding Scooter - the stock seat is hard closed-cell foam, and having a single shock absorber makes it a bit jarring going over all of the So. Calif potholes we have (worst roads in the nation - yea.) Didn't need the standard 7/8-inch seat mount - the Urb-E saddle mounts the rails directly to the seat beam.
However, ran into the problem someone else mentioned - the rail parallel width was 1/8-inch too wide to properly clamp in the hardened aluminum seat clamps on the Urb-E. Hm... didn't have a bench vice around to squeeze them a little closer together. Tried a big pair of channel-lock pliers, and couldn't get more than 1mm more of width...
Then I remembered that 7/8-inch seat mount I just took off. Took the nuts off both sides, flipped the metal clam-shell pieces so the big sides were on the outside, instead of towards the inside, and used it as a improvised squeeze vice to get that extra 1/8-inch narrower opening between the bars (just keep tightening the nuts on alternate sides while holding wrenches/sockets on both ends by the nut.)
Now the rails were nice and parallel, and closer together to perfectly fit the aluminum seat mounting block. Mounted in-position, now I have 3 springs worth of shock absorption instead of just one. The springs easily clear the seat beam when folded and the seat maintains the same profile and tilt as the original. Great upgrade!
Perfect! No more pain!

OK. Let me start out by saying that I had my doubts about this seat when I received it. I expected it to be a squishy gel seat. It is not. That being said, I am glad it isn't. It is more of a stiff material but it is by no means hard. Putting the seat on the bike was simple. I didn't even need my husbands help! I just put it on and tightened down the nuts. I haven't had any problem at all with the seat being loose or moving around. I think the people that are having that problem need to tighten the nuts. The seat does sit higher than my other seat but that doesn't bother me at all. I just got back from a 2 hour bike ride with my kids and I am amazed! I have no pain at all. With my stock seat, only a few minutes of riding would cause pain and if I pushed it to an hour, I would feel bruised for days! I am really impressed. I never imagined it would make that big of a difference. I am about 135 lbs but I can feel the springs working as shock absorbers. The springs seem sturdy enough to handle considerably more weight. I needed the wider seat to accommodate my wider hips after having children. This seat works perfectly. I almost gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the description says gel seat and it is actually made of multi-stage foam. I think the description should reflect the actual product. If the seat wasn't so perfect, I might be more upset about that! Also, not all of the reviews on here are for this seat. If you'll notice, some of the pictures are of different seats. The seat I received is black with a white line and C-9 on the side and a blue logo on the back. No stitching or anything like that. I hope it continues to be as comfortable as it was for me today! I highly recommend this seat!
Good seat for a Beach Cruiser bike only!!!
RyanERAUJune 13, 2016
Pros:
--Very wide seat; I am a 220 man and I fit on the seat no problem; but my legs are not hindered from pedaling.
--Durable; made strong and durable
--Easy to install; took me about 10 mins to install the seat on my current bike.

Cons:
--Firm; I thought there was more cushion and gel.

All in All; A great seat for a cruiser. Do not make the mistake that I did and try to put it on any other type of bike. I have a mountain bike, but only ride around the neighborhood with my daughters, so I thought it would be nice to have a wider more comfortable seat. This seat is designed for the rider to sit upright, like a beach cruiser, not leaning forward like a mountain or street bike.
