This High Tack Spray really helps when in stalling those paper or cork based gaskets. If you're installing a transmission pan gasket, you know how much of a pain it can be if it shifts on you when installing bolts. With this stuff, you'll never have that issue again. On top of that, it gives you some more sealing capability which is really nice if you need. it. Remains effective at temperatures of -65°F to 500°F (-54°C to 260°C). Sensor-safe. Resists gasoline, oil, antifreeze, axle lube, kerosene, propane and butane.

This is the third bottle, if spay on the paint it will bond to it, do not wipe it off with alcohol if accident sprayed on paint. Good use for seal under car 1st coat then spray undercoated layer over it

I love this Permatex High Tack Gasket Sealant.The Sealant is very tacky.it is great for oil pan or transmission gaskets because being under the vechle and holding the pan as well.the last thing you want to do is for that gasket to move even just a little bit.with this Permatex sealant that will probably not happen.it is very tacky.And I would also say make sure you are in a well vented area and a high flow fan going away from you.because it has a very strong smell.and make sure you don't get any sealant on the theads of the can.it will be hard to open for when the next time you use it.the 4 oz will go a long way I would say 1 1/2 of this stuff could do a engine rebuild but if you are going to do a transmission rebuild and rear end I would go with a few more cans.but not sure how many for sure..the lid has a rod and brush monted together so it makes it easyer to use.and I always use gloves when working on a car with any contact to fluids or gresse or road grime.it will pay off in the long and short run.please protect your hands I know a guy that worked on cars all his life with no gloves and his hands is in very bad shape for life.better safe than sorry

This worked perfectly to hold and seal the gaskets on an ATV motor build. I sprayed all the case and jug gaskets and the were very tacky and held in place perfectly. Unfortunately I used the whole can on 1 application the good is no leaks. I would definitely buy this product again.
