Nothing else worked for my American Standard Hi Torque disposal (Anaheim Manufacturing). I got a bargain on the disposal, but was missing this part. I tried the only elbow option from the big box hardware store that was made to fit insinkerator -- I had to alter my disposal case for the shorter elbow and it leaked anyway. This Waste King elbow worked first time, perfectly.

Pipe came fast and was super easy to install. Probably saved me a $100 plumber visit.

Did not need it, had to return it.

We busted our elbow on our GE disposal, and of course GE doesn't carry the part we needed. This fit perfectly.

I purchased a Waste King L 8000 Garbage Disposal from Amazon. It was purported to come with all necessary parts for installation. It came with none. Either Amazon flubbed on the disposal coming with necessary parts, or somebody had robbed the parts.

In order to make the Disposall fit under my sink, I ordered every part listed as going with the L 8000 so that my Handyman could get it installed. Most of the parts for Waste King, did not fit, or I needed the Old Style, or some other badly worded atrocity made the fit unlikely or impossible.

But this Elbow and Gasket were one of the items with which I hit the Jackpot. The man,s face was wreathed in smiles when he saw this. He did not have to saw an old pipe apart. He did not have to rush home to see if he had a gasket this size. He just popped this on, applied a bit of Plumber's Putty "just in case" and he went whistling to the next item that attracted his attention.

The pipe was just the right size. The gasket slid easily into pace on the pipe. No cutting or fiddling was required. The gasket and pipe were made of high quality materials.

My Handyman was happy with these, and if he is happy, I am happy. We both recommend.
