This is exactly what I was looking for! Home Depot only had ugly ceiling covers, so I had to order this one on amazon. So easy to install. Took me less than a minute and it looks great. Sits flush on ceiling. Did not have to paint it. Great product - will order more in the future if I need them.

We used this to cover up the wiring for an old hardwired smoke detector in the hallway. We removed the hardwired one that was not working properly and replaced it with battery powered smoke detectors in the hallway and in each of the bedrooms right off of the hallway. Since our ceilings are painted the same color as our walls, it took no time to paint this and now it blends right in. The light fixtures and crown molding also visually distract from this cover.
