Fits perfect on Hampton bay 42†fans

Took a chance on hoping these would fit since my older Hampton Bay fan bracket broke off when cleaning it and couldn't find replacements anywhere even Home Depot or lowes didnt have any brackets that fit in stock I ordered these crossing my fingers they'd fit and bam worked better then before . Trick is you have to change all brackets since these are made of a lighter metal then the original brackets and it turns lighter and faster then before with the older heavier brackets . If you only change one it will spin off balance and wobble due to the weight Imbalance. So note change all brackets . But works great I think it spins lighter now to and blows air faster then before . Great buy!!!

My old fan has four blades. It has always wobbled. I finally decided to solve the problem. One of the original brackets was crooked and I broke it trying to bend it. These Westinghouse blade arms were the proper finish so I took a chance on them. They had the proper distances for the blade and motor screw holes which was a good thing. Some further modifications were required for clearance but they worked.. These arms are cast metal and are uniform. I have an extra arm left over from this 5 arm set. I will store the extra arm someplace that I will forget.

One bracket on our living room fan broke while it was being dusted. I measured the distance between holes and hoped this would fit. It did! But the bracket was not precisely the same as the others and the fan had some wobbling issues at the the highest speed. This fan has 4 blades, so I then replaced the opposite blade's bracket. It spun a little better. I went ahead with replacing the other 2 brackets, hoping they would all be the same weight, etc. It spins very well now, even at the highest speed! Also, I saved a few pennies by purchased a "used" item which Amazon said had been returned and that they had checked out as being complete and in good shape. It was. Thanks Amazon!

Make sure you MEASURE the existing hardware to make sure these are the correct ones! Perfect fit for my fan!!! One of my original ones muat have gotten bent slightly because it wobbled the fan, replaced with these and NOW NO WOBBLE!!
