I have a 7 week old baby and I've been nursing him using regular nursing pillows (boppy and a similar one) until getting this one yesterday. It's a HUGE improvement!! I wish I'd had it since the beginning! The fact that it attaches snugly means no constant repositioning, you can control how high or low it goes, and the baby can't slowly sink down between you and the pillow. I'm tall with a long torso so being able to put it higher up makes things so much easier. It's flat and wide so plenty of room for the baby and it's foam, so much firmer than a regular pillow. Get this pillow!!

Purchased this to use in place of my Boppy Breastfeeding Pillow and it made breastfeeding so much more enjoyable. I love the little pocket, it's great to keep chapstick, ponytail holders, hand sanitizer, lotion, etc. which I always seem to need when I can't get up. The pillow itself is a nice sturdy surface to keep the baby on, and it puts the baby higher up on your waist (re: at your boob, unlike the boppy which would be great for boobs that hang down to your belly button). This pillow allows you to feed hands free. I also let my son lay on it after feeding (making sure he doesn't roll off obviously) so we can have a nice face-to-face chat! Can't do that with a boppy (boppy is great to sit on right after delivery though, and for tummy time later on!!). The cover is easy to clean, and the velcro on/easy off and back support really make a difference. Highly highly recommend this!

I love this pillow. The cover is very soft and detaches easily for washing. I thought that the piece of foam behind my back would be annoying, but it's really nice because it helps me keep good posture while nursing. And it's not so hard that it becomes too uncomfortable, just serves as a gentle reminder to sit up.
I also love the attached carry-bag thingy; I keep nursing pads, a small burp cloth, and a water bottle in it at all times.
I haven't had this for long, so we'll see how the fabric holds up through multiple washings.

1000 times better than the boppy! I don't like the boppy as it is to round and doesn't sit on my waist right. I am a normal/skinny size person and if I use a boppy I am squished into my rocker...The breastfriend is more squared off on the sides and edges and is more supportive for breastfeeding. I also appreciate that it buckles on the side so when I need to move it stays in place. This one is Blue and ivory. Not blue and white like the pics make it appear.
