A little disappointed by the waviness.

Great and fast shipping and packaging. The screen however, I hate to say, is a bit wavy. After reading all reviews I was just hoping I wouldn't be one of the ones with this problem. I'm constantly trying to adjust it by applying shims in the back to push out the waves. For the money I can't complain too much but I am a bit disappointed. One more thing is that I CAN NOT seem to get it to stop retracting at the 2" intervals. I thankfully got it to stay in ONE position that fits a 16.9 setting.
Excellent Screen

I installed this in front of my 65" plasma and used a hdmi splitter from receiver output to both plasma tv and projector. When a program comes on that warrants viewing on big screen, I turn on the projector, turnoff tv and pull down screen and enjoy the huge screen. Works great. The screen did roll up very slowly for several weeks but now you must hang on to it when retracting. Picture is excellent/super bright and very happy with this screen.
Decent if you don't have a flat blank wall to use

As others have noted, this screen is only so-so if you use a short-throw projector. The screen isn't totally flat at the sides and one part of the bottom where it's attached, so you see a bit of waviness when the picture pans. The chemical smell from the black paint is MUCH worse too if you get the added two-foot drop, which I did. The winding gear is also much noisier than the first one I got from Elite, which was very quiet if you pulled slowly. This one makes noise each time it goes past the two-inch holds, which is a slight bummer as I have it mounted on a shared wall, so my neighbor probably hears it.
That said, I'm still satisfied overall, as the price is low.

It's seem to be very well-made and was easy to install

Read hope that this would work, but with it not being fixed, static, it waived with in a breeze and causes distortion of the picture. It's seem to be very well-made and was easy to install, will return it for a fixed screen
Great results with this screen, beautiful picture with my ViewSonic PRO8530HDL

I recently got my hands on a ViewSonic PRO8530HDL and needed something to project it onto. I had tried another screen, a portable one with a tripod, but it was just horribly made, a total piece of junk that wouldn't even stand level.
I set up that return, then looked through the options for screens that were Amazon Prime options, so I could overnight one. This one was one such, and I paid the extra to overnight it.
And, of course, that flopped horribly. Ordered on Friday, paid a large shipping premium to get it overnight, and it arrived late Tuesday. At least Amazon refunded my extra shipping fee, but still bothered me that a Prime item wasn't anywhere close to even the prime 2 day shipping promise.
But that's about all I can complain about. The unit itself arrived in great condition. I was mounting it up at the top of the wall in my great room, so didn't have to worry about studs, as the wall has the double 2x4's across that whole upper edge. Screwed in the screws that came with it, had a buddy help me get it hung, and that was it.
I had no wrinkles or any other issues with it when I first unrolled it - was perfect already by that point.
For permanent mounted screens like this, I really wish there was a way to "tweak" angle. It wouldn't be difficult for screen makers to have some kind of a screw-driven floating attachment point, so you could easily tweak it slightly up or down on each side, to get it perfectly level after hanging it. Despite the top being level, the screen itself is just slightly angled when it comes out.
But the thickness and black back is awesome, since I have this RIGHT over a large bay window, and it does a perfect job of blocking all that light. The screen itself is great, the picture looks awesome on it. Bright, and has a great viewing angle.
All told, I can tell I'm really going to LOVE having a projector once I get my custom designed mount done so I can position the projector at the perfect spot, since the only place to mount it currently is about 12 to 18 inches too far away, so I can't squeeze the picture down enough to fit this screen.
