Excellent performer. Quieter than the original it replaced
Mitch•March 9, 2017
Arrived on-time. Excellent performer. Quieter than the original it replaced. One thing to know. If your appliance has a thermostat switch to the fan as mine does, you may need to reverse polarity to the motor after installing it. When we first installed the fan, it wouldn't turn on because we apparently connected the wrong wire from the switch. We switched the wire and it worked. No issues.

I thought I was going to need a new fireplace but I youtubed how to install this and it was really easy. I actually had an older wood burning model so I had to be a little creative. Just a heads up the power cable is only about 18 inches long so you'll need to plug it into an extension cord if you don't have an outlet very close by.
Wrong Fan Ordered
SJC.•February 15, 2015
Fan outlet orientation differs from the original fan and cannot be adjusted or modified. Use caution when ordering a replacement fan. Make sure that fan outlets, screw mounting holes, motor orientation, and wiring are identical with the original.
good fan for the price, totally recommend.

Excellent, especially for the Price. This one has the plastic blades, and for a higher price you can get metal blades, but so far my experience with these fans is that the plastic blades hold up fine. (We use it with a heat n glo wood burning fireplace) The fan is adequately quiet, puts out loads of air (our fireplace uses two of these fans) and was a straight forward replacement install.
