Really happy as i travel with my press and have broken a few. A couple of user suggestions: the screen is very fine, and i find if you stir the coffee right before pressing, and go very slow it works fine. Otherwise it wont really move and if you press too hard, coffee shoots up between the gasket and the container and makes a big mess!
I do not pick up any metallic taste from the press, as i would expect if this is pure Ti.

This, is a wonderfully crafted device. Everything, from: the lightweight, non-conductive titanium which allows boiling temperature to be held well, the ergonomic handles make an easy three finger grab on a full cup of Jo'. The filter inside is of a great quality too, coming from a mind well aware of your GMO, plastic carcinogen BPA ridden Ocean's. This can very well be a legacy item for a future generation if kept well & maintained.

Very durable and worth the money paid. Filter separates coffee beans well and it's easy to clean. We use it while primitive camping and it makes a great cup of coffee.
