I work with 24 AWG solid telephone cabling regularly. This is the perfect tool for easily and reliably stripping away the jacketing in fairly confined spaces and the cutter allows you to have the exact length of bare wire each time. Also, if you want less bare wire, you can drill an extra hole or two and move the clipper forward if necessary.

I saw my coworker using this and tried it. I had to have on e after!! This is used for stripping 22/24ga solid copper interconnect wire, it strips and cuts at the correct length for your wire wrap tool. This saves a lot of time if you have to do many wire wraps in a day. Solid construction and it fits in the front pocket of my Klein punch down tool belt holster.
