Just what I needed

I purchased this light box to sort film negatives before digitizing them. The box lights up evenly with the whole surface being bright and not any hot bright spots like some older boxes would when they had only one light bulb behind the surface. Not a huge surface, but large enough to sort through a roll of film. Works great. After returning one of the thin LED tracers, I was afraid this might not be bright enough also since it is LED, but it is really bright.
Fair lightbox but uneven brightness

I purchased this as an inexpensive photo slide viewer, as preview work to prepare slides for digital scanning. It seems bright enough to do that work, although the LED light bar source is under the top section of the box, rather than spread out throughout the surface, which makes for uneven lighting. Very bright at the top edge, modestly bright at the bottom. There is no adjustment for intensity, the advertisement did not imply there was one. For the price, a fair lightbox for slide transparency viewing.

Love it! I bought it to "weed" my vinyl and paper after I cut it on my Cricut, and it works perfectly! This lightbox makes it so much easier that i wish I had bought it long ago. A must have for paper crafters!

While not as slick as some of the new LED tracing tables, I prefer this one with the angled top, good light, and reliable functionality. I had the exact same one in art school that lasted me for 4 years before giving it away. When I got back into drawing again the price and quality of this still seemed to be the best option.

For anyone interested in animating, I HIGHLY recommend this. I am an animator, and I don't have an animating table, and i don't use tracing paper. I only use standard printing paper, which is harder to see through. So I bought this LightTracer Box for myself. And the Light is EXTREMELY BRIGHT! I can easily see what I'm doing, and it only cost me $40. What I'm not sure is how to replace the light once it runs out. I have had this for over a year, and it hasn't gone out yet. If it does I would probably just buy a new one.
