After reading some reviews, I was wary of purchasing this, but I was pleasantly surprised at the tool's overall high quality. It meets the quality level I would expect from a US-made item. Good metalwork, no burrs or snags, good welds, threads, plating. Adjusts and clamps smoothly and firmly. All the clamps in this series have a peculiarity, in that the nut which secures them to the workable is an "eye-nut" (see the illustrations on other sizes). I prefer a regular nut, which is an M10, easy to pick up, along with a heavy fender washer. But the toolmaker did all the hard work, and made a very useful clamp for a drill press or similar setup. It's a keeper.

I waited to review until after I had received a couple of S*****H*** Tool's versions: P*****4 ... just as bad ... no nuts and adjustment thread incomplete on one ... no zero closure ... no identifying markings at all ... I wouldn't admit I had built it either ... even as a knock-off ...

Works well for items thicker than 3/16".

The thinnest item this can securely clamp is about 3/16". Any thinner, and the item slides around on the drill press table. When drilling anything less than 3/16" thick (e.g. steel plate), you have to insert something in between the thing you're drilling and the clamp.

i have a drill press with a relatively small table and have had a hard time finding a good vise that's not too large (standard vises' mounting hole slots don't match up).
This product was the perfect solution. It only needed one mounting point so the fit was not an issue, it can rotate for correct positioning, and it holds things down firmly.
Ideally, this product would include a slip-on rubber end piece but I'm happy with the purchase.
