for the price I like it. Otherwise get a better chuck. Its take time to get pieces centered.

Not knowing this was available from Amazon, I bought mine directly from Grizzly.
When shipment arrived, I was simply amazed at the quality. I was expecting it to be made of aluminum, but it's good quality steel. I bought the 5/8" unthreaded because I needed a 3/4"-10 spindle mount, which is no longer available from my lathe mfg and Grizzly doesn't offer that particular mount. Drilling and tapping this model seems a better choice than using an adapter.

Very satisfied with this chuck, solid construction with thin profile so it doesn't weigh down my spindle. Holds very securely,top rating.
