2 oz size is perfect for drinks or tiny desserts. Heavy base makes them well balanced. Thin rim stands up to daily use but will break if it receives a sharp blow. Dishwasher safe.

I just recieved these glasses today and I am very pleased with them. The shape is very elegant as the stem flows into the bowl as opposed to most Martini glasses where the bowl just seems to sit on top of the stem. The glasses look great but also have a pleasing heft to them; they don't feel the least delicate.

But more importantly they are the right size. I have Martini glasses that are 4.5 oz and just right for a small cocktil of about 3 oz or an aperitif. I also have some large Martini glasses that are nominal 8 oz but actually hold 10 1/4 oz (at the point of overflowing). That is way to big for any rational cocktail. These Bormioli Rocco glases were listed as 6 oz. In reality they hold 8 oz at the point of overflowing and a cocktail of 4 1/2 oz is just perfect with the cocktail beeing about 5/8" below the top of the glass. That is just right to allow serving without spilling, drinking without spilling and moving around at a coktail party without sloshing or having to be too careful. 5 oz is ok too but that is the most I'd want to put in these. For what it is worth the box they come in shows them as 8 1/4 oz; not the 6 shown in the description.

Previously I had bought the Lennox Tuscany Martini glasses which were also listed as 6 oz. Lenox Tuscany Classics Martini, Set of 4 . These are huge glasses and actually hold a bit over 10 1/2 oz and are almost 9 inches tall. They are a great looking glass; the bowl has a beautiful flare to it, but I could think of how I would use them so I returned them.

The glasses all came unbroken and in two days with Amazon Prime. I think I'll order another box of 6.

I bought these to serve Crema di Limoncello and they are perfect for that purpose. Unfortunately one glass was shattered in spite of an undamaged shipping box. They would be a nice gift but would need to be repackaged to make a nice presentation.

I got married on April 2nd, 2016. I opted to do shots in lieu of a champagne toast. I bought these shot glasses along with stencils and glass etching paste. I etched my bridal party initials in each glass. It served as a great take home gift for them as well. These were much nicer than the normal shorter shot glasses. I had read a couple of reviews that some had arrived broken. I took a chance and ordered only the number needed. They all arrived intact with no chips or cracks even. It is a nice durable glass, it seems as though it would be difficult to break even if dropped. You cannot beat it for the price paid, much nicer than traditional shot glasses. would recommend and reorder if needed shot glasses in the future.

Bought the first pack and liked them so much I bought another one. One glass arrived broken but Amazon had a replacement the next day. Love the size, shape, weight and feel of these glasses. We typically keep a few in the freezer so they're ready when we want to sample a cocktail. Can't go wrong here.
