This vacuum head really sucks!

This vacuum head sucks! Or rather, I wish it did. This vacuum head doesn't even fit a standard pool hose so, it is absolutely useless! Because the connection is too small for the hose there is no suction and the hose continually comes off of the head. Don't waste your money if you're buying this to replace a standard vacuum head! I just threw away the money I spent on this because I can't even use it.
Was a real bear getting the spring loaded to connect the two pieces but the best buy in a long time

Where have you been all my life! Bought a house 15 yrs ago that had a pool. Been using the vacuum head they left. If it's not broke why replace it. Boy, was I wrong!! Took me a third of the time to vacuum. Was a real bear getting the spring loaded to connect the two pieces but the best buy in a long time!! HIGHLY recommend!

My husband purchased this. I've used it and I'm not a fan. It doesn't weigh enough to stay on the bottom of the pool as you're moving it to vacuum. I grew up using the old stuff in the late 80s and that worked better than this. It's too light weight and there aren't any bristles on the bottom to push debris into the suction area. I would not buy this.

Happy with this for occasional use. It is weighted, but to my surprise I wish there was more weight on it, I have to push it down to keep it on the pool surface. Still, this works as well as pricier versions. BTW from experience I know this plastic degrades from UV so store this out of sunlight if you want it to last.

Very nice product.I have used a similar item to ckean my pool.
There seems to be some issue about how to put the spring on.
It literally took me 20 sec to put together.
Go to YouTube and search for Swimline 8150 and use a long pair of needle nose pliers.
I also purchase a new hose with one End that Swivels.
No more twisted hoses.
