Going to get a few more for storm season and the boat! Buying again. Does not include the child proof collar the fuel tanks come with.
Great price

Good product, great price compared to other dedicated water jugs. Spout is convenient. No leaks.
Vent cap solution and vent cap doesn't need removing to pour

As mentioned by others, by design the vent cap will not seal and a few solutions have been offered from adding a rubber gasket to modifying the vent cap. I went the potable water safe rubber gasket method, using #42 O-ring gaskets with an O.D of 11/16" and 1/8" ring diameter (3/4" O.D. can work but is a little too tight). The vent cap seals tight if you use plyers with some pressure on the top of the cap to effectively tighten and form a seal. The vent cap is designed to prevent pressure build up in the can but is not needed for pouring as the included pour spout is vented, so I see no need to ever remove the vent cap again.

I purchased these for water storage in my home and I am not concerned about temperature changes or pressure building inside the cans. Also, I will use these to partly refill RV fresh water tank when boondocking instead of towing the RV to a potable water source. The pour spouts are somewhat flexible, enough to allow filling RV tank without jury rigging something else.

Four stars because of having to add rubber O-rings. 5 stars otherwise for sturdiness, shape, and pouring.

i can't recommend this due to one major flaw: they made a feeble attempt to provide an indentation on the bottom for a handhold when tilting to pour, but it's way to shallow to be of any use. for a jug this heavy (filled with water) you'll need to hold the entire jug to empty it.
Somebody bring me some water

I would really like to give it four point five stars. I would only take a half a star for not being made in the USA 🇺🇸. But Canada 🇨🇦 is pretty good. I trust those Canuckians. Plus they're so damn polite! lol
Anyways, I'm not quite what you would call a "prepper", but I do believe in having a few essential things on hand in case of emergency. And water plus food are pretty much the most important. So I have a couple of these five gallon containers of water put aside in my basement pantry. And they also double as excellent backup for my camper.
This is a pretty darn good one, especially for the money. $20? C'mon man! (as our newly "elected?" President? loves to say)
Great deal. It's a nice, sturdy container. Doesn't leak-even from the spout- and seems to be able to handle both the heat and the cold fairly well. Flexes a little bit, but still don't leak. Pretty much all you can ask a water container to do. I'm not really a huge fan of the baby blue color but that's just being nit picky. It's a damn good container at a bargain price. Get a couple. Keep them full and ready for the inevitable power outage.
You'll be glad you did. Promise.
I recommend. I'll probably get a few more
Thanks for reading
