I've given this tool quite the test, digging up very strong roots of very invasive plants, and it's great. The round tines may not be the best for small, close work, but if you've got a big job, or are hard on tools, this is an excellent fork.

This is the real deal. Not sure what the gauge is on these tynes, but the steel is thick and unbendable. Would repurchase.
