These lemon grass shoots are far fresher and more robust than anything I could get at any price where I live. I admit it was a struggle getting them - delivery took longer than I had hoped. The shoots were not wrapped in any sort of moisture barrier. We were dealing with summer heat in excess of 115 degrees... Not stacked in the plants' favor. As you can see, they were in rough shape when I received my purchase. As soon as I got my delivery, I filled the sink with cold water and let them soak for a few hours. Then I cleaned them up and trimmed the tops - just like you do with green onions. Easy. I put them into a jar of water in a bright spot, out of direct sunlight and 2 weeks later I have little roots & side shoots forming. IDK how some of the other reviewers were able to claim 1" roots forming after only 3 days, but then I have a brown thumb....so? Anyway, buy this. It's good!

I received a product loose in a box with no sign of life. I've added them to rainwater and change it out every few days. I'm finally seeing life. Not all but the majority are turning green. Give it some time before returning if you can. I'll keep them inside for a while because this southern heat is killing so much of my garden. I am looking forward to trying these out.

They arrived ok considering it's Florida. Cleaned them u. Put in an inch of water to root and now they are on my patio growing. Only had to toss one stalk.

These came in so fresh I was able to stick a couple of men in the ground to grow. I have ordered them several times and they are always fresh and delicious.
