I have a loathing for plastic fans, so I got this fan. It feels light weight and a bit on the cheap side, but it has great airflow! Best of all, It doesn't use the standard rattle prone C-Frame motors used in other fans of this size. And best of all are the metal blades. It has 2 speeds and uses a rocker switch.
On the bad side (for me) is that fact that you cant aim this fan down due to it's design unless you turn it all the way around. Also and it feels like if it wants to fall forward. These are not big issues, but still. The good Airflow more than make up for this fans small shortcomings.

Terrible!
I have replace this fan three times within 60 days! The first fans and not even last 48 hours. The second one they sent as a replacement stopped working the minute I unplugged it.
I left it turned on and plugged it in and about 30 minutes later at miraculously started spinning really slow.
I thought because it was industrial grade it would last long. But this fan from this company is a POS!
I contacted Amazon and it was out of the refund . So now I am stuck with the fan that I can't turn on and off. Lesson learned!

industrial grade is junk? oh, my mistake then. This fan, on Hi, has trouble pushing air out perceptibly to 8 feet. The outside casing is metal, but the motor housing is plastic, small...so small I'm not sure how they fit the little mouse inside there.
This fan is badly designed, but it's not always about getting what you pay for.

I have used this fan perhaps 5 times now. The fan has no handle at the top/back like other fans.... Grabbing the grille or other part is not secure or comfortable and the fan is best turned off to move it. Also, I don't find a big difference in airflow volume/speed between the 2 speeds. It has an annoying hum at times and sounds rickety at other times. It's poorly designed all around. I have had similar fans over the years and they were all superior in the ways this one is lacking. ... I did, however buy an even cheaper Honeywell fan with a hard plastic housing and it performs great! Handle, 3 speeds, quiet, pushes air, looks fine... So a good product is not always a matter of cost. I do recommend the air circulator type of fan as even a small model seems to efficiently push a volume of air. Get a fan sized appropriately to the area of use.

I use a fan at night to provide white noise while I sleep. I found this fan, which was described as "industrial grade" and I mistakenly thought that meant that it would be sturdy and well made. No...buyer beware, this is NOT a quality product! Not only is it cheaply made for the high price charged, it makes a high pitched grinding sound that is unacceptable for my needs. I would give it zero stars, but that wasn't an option. Very, VERY disappointed in this product...I can't believe I actually paid $80 for 2 of these! I can't return them fast enough.
