Big Bucks but really awesome.

Yes, the price is very high.

I really don't know why this is so awesome. I have previously use a Kitchenaid pasta roller to make ravioli and Pierogi. This machine rolls out perfectly even sheets of dough in a third of the time. The dough sheets are about 9 inches wide and adjustable from 1/2 inch thick to see-through thin.

It is very well made and should last me the rest of my life.

A couple of notes :

There is an interlock switch making you use the top rollers. Not so convenient. I cheated mine out, but I don't recommend you do so as you can easily get loose clothing or fingers in the roller.

The instructions are a total joke.
BUYER BEWARE

I purchased this product used from a "storefront" called "Pasta Maker". This machine was FILTHY when I received it - with old food crusted on it. The rollers were EXTREMELY pitted, corroded and tarnished - not suitable for food quality useage. It didn't even sit level on the table - the feet and front panel were crooked. I cleaned it up and tried to turn it on, BUT THE ACTIVATION ARM DID NOT TURN ON THE MACHINE, THE SWITCH WAS BROKEN. I believe the person who sold this just wanted to offload it and used Amazon to do so. It reminded me of the flood damaged cars people tried to get rid of after Katrina. This store gives Amazon a bad name. Amazon, I hope you don't use them ever again. If I wanted to buy someone's garbage off of the internet, I would have gone to Ebay. This storefront does not belong on Amazon. Beware. They might try to sell it again under a different storefront name. Check with Amazon before you purchase this item used to be sure it wasn't returned before.
Great machine for a small restaurant!

Love this pasta machine! It is sturdy European made with an excellent quality feel. I have ben using Imperia pasta machines earlier but never with electric motor. It makes life so much easier! Also planning to use it for doing small pastry items and flat breads as well.
