It is not a direct replacement for the manual pump - though it does fit on the same connection to the toilet. The details provided by Amazon aren't all correct.
If the toilet is above the waterline the inlet hose must not be more than 3m long (I can't see where this is mentioned in the Amazon description).
Self priming up to 0.6m(2ft) - best case apparently, I'm less than that and it won't prime for me. Unfortunately, you also only have 10 seconds of priming (ONCE) and then they tell you that you can't prime it anymore or you will burn out the motor. WHAT? Competitors advertise as not having this (what I would consider a) defect.
The 29200 does not have the ability to vary the water level (as stated by the description in Amazon), it has two functions, flush, where the bowl is filled and emptied at the same rate, or empty, where the fill function is by-passed to allow for an empty bowl when at sea.
Unfortunately, I purchased this in October with the intention of installing it when I winterized the boat, and didn't get to it. Now I'm beyond the return date, and can't return it. This is at best a very expensive boat anchor - I have read reviews (after the fact) that point to the opinion that it would be better to buy from Jabsco's competitors. In my opinion, you would be better off with someone else's product. Avoid this conversion kit.
