Raw water pump

Update: Ended up spiltting the output flow to feed two separate live wells. Has no problem keeping up with the overflow. I probably have many hundred hours on it now, using it for live redfish tournaments, and have had no issue.

I installed this as a fresh water input plumbed to a 26 gallon live well. It pumps thru 15 ft of hose and flows VERY well. Have about 50 hours of use with it in saltwater and so far with no problems.

OEM Grizzly Tracker live well pump won't prime. Thought it might be damaged, cracked, etc. Replaced the 500GPM with this 800GPM. Comes will all mounting seals and wiring. Pump seems to work as advertised. Wire color matched (brown/black). Have not tested in the water.
Used for freshwater livewell in jon boat

The media could not be loaded. Just what I needed for an aerator setup I built into an existing jon boat livewell. The livewell is on side of boat and has a thru-hull drain/overflow built into it. I chose this style of thru-hull pump so it would areate and add fresh water when running rather than just recirculate the water in the livewell. At the overflow level, the livewell is close to 16 gallons, so I wanted to be sure fish waste didn't become an issue if I had a large bag of fish.

I really like that you can remove the pump motor for replacement or to clear clogs from the impeller, very nice feature. I set the pump up toward the rear of the livewell box and fed a spray bar from another recirculating kit I decided not to use.

Kit I used the hose and spray-bar from:
Marine Metal Super Saver 12-volt Aeration Kit

Worked perfectly for a tournament on a hot Florida day in September and kept two large bass very healthy and spunky all the way through weigh-in and release.

See pic and video for install.
