The media could not be loaded. I dont want to do this job 2x so I ordered both Jabsco (Mexico) and Seaflo (China) to see which one would become the replacement device.
I'm replacing an existing 19yo Jabsco with only a half dozen uses so I wanted to see if the $100 savings on the nock offs were worth it. But I'm not going to risk it after seeing both. Hope this one lasts just as long.

I was a little disappointed in the fact that when I applied power to the pump , the pump did not come on. I realize that on occasion , electric motors will need assistance in starting, but not in the application where you replace your holding tank pump with the hoses full of waste it becomes a little crappy if you know what I mean. Removed the rubber plug at the back of the motor and using a Large common screw driver I managed to get the motor to free up. Applied power and this time the motor came on. Reinstalled pump to the holding tank system and was able to pump my tank out. All good now. Appears to be a good product. Just a bump in the road.

on my boat at the end of the season. I
had to configure an interface using some common
plumbing fittings to connect it to the threaded outlet in my boat. I connected a cheap garden hose to the outlet on the pump and connected the leads to a portable power station, 12v.
So after connecting to power I could hear the pump running, but not piping anything...argh.
So I disconnected the garden hose and fed a little
water into the outlet hoping to prime it. BOOM...
Worked like a charm and emptied my holding tank in about 1 minute. I am very happy with this and especially the price point.
